Alongside her late husband, Ron Hamilton, she served as a writer, producer, and manager, helping create hymnals, choral works, and music resources, while also serving for 21 years at Calvary Baptist Church as a pianist and special music coordinator. After enduring the loss of her son following a long struggle with schizophrenia and later losing her husband to dementia, Shelly’s faith and ministry deepened. She now serves as a women’s speaker and author, sharing messages of trusting God, surrendering fully to His plan, and finding hope through suffering, while cherishing her roles as a mother and grandmother above all else.
